Over Memorial Day Weekend, hundreds gathered in Chicago to attend the Universal Muslim Association of America’s (UMAA) annual conference. This year’s UMAA conference, under the theme “The Conference of Imam Husayn,” brought together prominent scholars, activists, professionals, and academics to discuss various topics related to Islam and Muslims in the west, particularly the United States. Among the participants at this year’s conference was Imam Sayed Moustafa al-Qazwini, who contribution was entitled: “How Do We Unify Our Community in America?”
