On Saturday and Sunday, September 13 and 14, 2014, IECOC Weekend Islamic School began its first day of classes for 2014-2015. New and returning students, their parents, and teachers were all excited to begin another productive and positive year of learning.
The IECOC Weekend Islamic School is composed of the Saturday Islamic Farsi School and the Sunday Islamic Arabic School. Both Schools offer classes in Islamic practices, ethics, and Qur’an recitation and memorization. In addition to these classes, the Saturday School offers Farsi language classes, while the Sunday School offers Arabic language classes. Children also perform congregational prayers.
We encourage you to enroll your children (5 and above) in the Weekend Islamic School. Our faculty and teachers are highly qualified and have been teaching children for many years. The Weekend Islamic School provides children with the opportunity to learn more about Islam in a friendly and safe environment, as well as getting to know other children and establishing strong bonds of friendship.
