IECOC announces its 2016 Ziyarah Trip in conjunction with Ray of Light Tours.
This year’s Ziyarah Trip will consist of the visitation of holy sites in Iraq and Iran, from April 3 to Apil 17, 2016, under the religious guidance of Imam Dr. Sayed Moustafa al-Qazwini.
Pilgrims will spend 2 nights in the holy city of Najaf and 5 nights in the holy city of Karbala, as well as day-trips to the holy cities of Kadhimayn and Samarra in Iraq, and 3 nights in the holy city of Mashhad and 2 nights in the holy city of Qum in Iran.
Ziyarah, or visitation of the holy shrines and sites, is undoubtedly one of the most spiritually fulfilling and uplifting experiences. Pilgrims are able to experience first-hand the areas and sites in which the great Imams, Companions, and Ahlulbayt lived in and learn about the rich history of these sacred sites from the respected scholar Imam Dr. Sayed Moustafa al-Qazwini.
