Due to the lack of credible sightings of the new crescent on Thursday evening, IECOC announces the day of Eid al-Fitr to be Saturday, July 18, 2015 and Friday, July 17, is the 30th of the month of Ramadan. We pray to the Most Merciful to bless the entire global Muslim community on this day of Eid, and we congratulate all of you on the completion of the holy month of Ramadan!
Friday night will be the last night of the Ramadan programs at IECOC.
IECOC Eid Prayers Information:
The program for the day of Eid at the IECOC will be as follows:
7:00 am: Doors open
7:30 am: Takbeerat
8:00 am: Eid prayers
A second prayer will also be held immediately the first prayer.
Zakat al-Fitra is $15 per person. The IECOC will be accepting Zakat al-Fitra on the day of Eid and distributing it to needy families.
