On Saturday, September 6th, the IECOC will be celebrating the birth of the 8th Imam, Ali bin Musa Al-Ridha (as). The program will start at 7:30 PM with prayers, insha’Allah.
Imam Ali bin Musa Al-Ridha (as) was born in Madina in the house of his father, Imam Musa Al-Kadhim (as), in the year 148 AH (765 CE). His era marked an age of prosperity for Shiism, and today his shrine is visited by millions annually.
