On the morning of Tuesday, July 29th, 2014 the IECOC held prayers for the annual Islamic holiday of Eid Al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, in which all Muslims must abstain from eating or drinking from dawn til dusk.
The IECOC witnessed a great turnout of worshippers in numbers well beyond the mosque’s capacity. Because of this, the prayer service had to be performed twice so that everyone could participate.
We would like to congratulate everyone on the joyous occasion of Eid, and we ask our Merciful Lord to accept our prayers, fasting, and worship during this holy month and to make it a blessed day upon the believers. We also pray to God to bestow His mercy upon all of those who are suffering around the world.
