On Thursday, February 9th, the IECOC will commemorate the martyrdom of the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad (sa), Lady Fatima al-Zahra (as). We take this opportunity to celebrate the achievements of Muslim women and to empower and inspire them to partake in the civil, social, and political aspects of our community. Fatima al-Zahra (as) stood as a role model for women everywhere, especially young women in a society dominated by male influence and authority. The event will begin at 7 pm.
