On Wednesday, June 5th, the IECOC community celebrated Eid al-Fitr with Eid prayers in the morning. Eid al-Fitr marks the end of a month of fasting, and marks the begging of a new spiritual year for Muslims worldwide.

On Sunday, June 9th, the Shia Muslim Council of Southern California held their 4th annual Eid Picnic at William Mason Regional Park in Irvine, CA. The annual picnic represents a time for the SoCal Muslim community to come together and celebrate Eid together. Activities included sports, raffles, and great food!
