– Conditional Use Permit (CUP): Our team of dedicated volunteers has been working diligently on fulfilling the City of Irvine’s requirements to obtain the CUP for our newly acquired school building. We recently signed a contract with a reputable engineering services firm to represent Ark Academy in obtaining the permit. Your continued support is invaluable as we navigate through this crucial step.

– Entity Establishment: We are proud to announce the establishment of two entities, Ark Trust and Ark Academy, that together will play key roles in shaping the future of Ark Academy. This strategic move is a testament to our commitment to educational excellence, professional corporate governance, and Islamic values.

– Curriculum Development: We are seeking to develop a new Islamic studies curriculum that motivates children to be passionate about Islam, fosters critical thinking, and supports evidence-based pedagogical practices. We are actively seeking a talented Islamic Studies Curriculum Developer to join our team. The position is posted on Indeed, and we encourage qualified individuals to apply and contribute to the growth of Ark Academy.

– Fundraising for Construction: To facilitate necessary renovations to the school building, we have initiated a fundraising campaign with a target of raising $1.2 million. Funds will support facility and classroom renovations, furniture and fixtures, education supplies, and administrative purchases. Your generous contributions will make a significant impact, and we look forward to hosting a fundraiser in early 2024.
