Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon. To God we belong, and to God we will return.
It is with great sadness that we have received news of the passing away of Dr. Sayed Mohammad Bahroluloom at the age of 88 on April 7, 2015 in the city of Najaf, Iraq. Dr. Sayed Bahroluloom was an iconic Iraqi scholar and activist who dedicated his life to both his religion and country. Throughout the many decades of his noble life, including the later period of his life when he was battling deteriorating health, he stood at the forefront of activism in Iraq and offered great contributions to the scholarly development of the seminary in Najaf.
IECOC offers its deepest condolences to the entire family of Dr. Sayed Bahroluloom, to all Iraqis, and to all who knew the late scholar activist and were inspired by his life and works. We pray to the Most Merciful Lord to bless his soul and grant him the highest stations in paradise and to give his family members and friends patience to overcome their tragic loss.
