On January 20, 2016, Imam Sayed Moustafa al-Qazwini joined the Orange County Council of religious Leaders at the Christ Cathedral Catholic Church in Garden Grove, California, where religious leaders met to discuss many contemporary topics, including ways to prevent and counter extremism, terrorism, xenophobia, and all forms of hate in our religious communities in Southern California.
