Based on multiple eyewitness sightings in Southern California, Friday, August 2nd is the first day of Dhul-Hijjah.

Therefore, the Day of Arafah will be Saturday, August 10th, and the day of Eid al-Adha will be on Sunday, August 11th.

We encourage our community members to take part in the many acts of worship recommended on the Day of Arafah.

Eid prayers will be held at the IECOC on Sunday, August 11th. Doors open at 9 am, Takbeerat begin at 9:15 am, and Salatul Eid at 9:30 am sharp.
