The Shia Muslim Council of Southern California has issued a statement regarding the upcoming Muharram season programs.

Based on state/county guidelines and consensus among centers involved in discussion, the SMC recommends that all in-person gatherings are suspended. Instead, centers can opt for holding virtual programs.
