Commemorating the life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Imam al-Redha (as)

This Thursday and Friday, October 15th-16th, the IECOC will commemorate the life and legacy of the Seal of the Prophets, the blessed and noble Muhammad ibn Abdullah (pbuh) and the 8th Imam of the school of Ahlulbayt, Ali ibn Musa al-Redha (as)

Throughout the ages, the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) has been considered among the world’s most influential leaders and change-makers. His tradition and legacy are indelibly printed in the hearts of more than a billion people worldwide. He was born in Mecca in 570 CE and passed away in Medina in 632 CE.

Imam Ali al-Redha (as) walked in the footsteps of his ancestors. He was known for his gentle spirit, his abundant knowledge, and was deeply loved among the masses. He was born in Medina in 766 CE and passed away in Tus in 818 CE.
